Project Status

We currently have six monitoring stations deployed in the Neuse River Basin. These stations monitor a variety of water quality indicators such as depth, pH, dissolved oxygen, nitrogen, turbidity and water temperature.

The sites are located in North Carolina at:

• Seven Springs Installed on April 24, 2000
  
  
• Fort Barnwell Installed on July 18, 2000
  
  
• Grifton Installed on July 26, 2000
  
  
• Clayton Installed on April 6, 2001
  
  
• Smithfield Installed on June 21, 2001
  
  
• Hookerton Installed on August 19, 2001       (Removed on January 8th, 2004)
  
  
• Bear Creek Installed on April 11, 2002       (Removed on July 14th, 2003)
  
  
• Auburn-Knightdale Rd. Installed on February 21, 2003
